Many people regard the aerobatic atlantic salmon as the ultimate in fresh water fly fishing. While this can be endlessly debated, the fact that Newfoundland has more rivers full of atlantic salmon than any other country, state, or province in the world can not. With more than 60% of all the atlantic salmon rivers in North America and nearly 200 pristine scheduled rivers, atlantic salmon fishing in Newfoundland is a fly fishers paradise. The principle river we fish, the Humber River, has one of the largest runs of atlantic salmon in the world and is one of the few rivers in the world where late season 30 pound atlantic salmon will be seen daily in aerobatic splendor. Join us this season and experience atlantic salmon fishing at its finest.

We have centered our operation in the Long Range Mountains of Newfoundland's west coast where many of the world's best salmon rivers can be found. The scenery consists of mountainous terrain streaked with numerous crystal clear cold rivers and streams and provides both beautiful scenery and idea limestone river fishing. This affords us the opportunity to fish as many as a dozen salmon rivers within 45 minutes of our location. These unspoiled rivers and streams abound with atlantic salmon and all have strong runs of sea run brook trout eager for a fly or nymph. Guests fly to either of the villages of Deer Lake or Stephenville, Newfoundland and are met at the airport for the short 30 minute ride to our base of operations. From this central location we fish the famous Humber River and can travel to other nearby locations on occasion to take advantage of a recent fly hatch, or salmon run. The accommodations consist of, private rooms, private or semi-private bathrooms, spacious dinning and living areas, and a chef who's specialty is stuffed baked salmon in almond sauce.
